Product Overview
R507A is a near-azeotropic HFC refrigerant blend, developed as a drop-in replacement for R502 in low and medium-temperature refrigeration systems. It is a colorless gas with a faint ethereal odor. R507A offers excellent thermodynamic performance and cooling capacity across a wide operating range, making it the preferred choice for commercial and industrial refrigeration applications.
⚠️ Important Note: R507A has a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 3985 (IPCC AR4) and is subject to phasedown regulations under the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol. Please check local regulations before purchase, especially in regions with active F-gas reduction policies. R507A is not recommended for new equipment design, but remains an effective refrigerant for existing systems designed for R502 or R507.

Applications
R507A is widely used in:
· Refrigeration – commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
· Cold storage – low and medium-temperature warehouses
· Supermarket refrigeration – display cases and freezers
· Ice making – ice machines and ice rinks
· Transport refrigeration – refrigerated containers and trucks
ℹ️ Note: R507A is a near-azeotropic blend, meaning it has a very small temperature glide (less than 0.5°C) during phase change, making it behave like a pure fluid. This simplifies charging and servicing compared to other zeotropic blends. R507A is not recommended for retrofitting into systems designed for R22 or R404A without appropriate system modifications and safety assessments. For new equipment, we recommend consulting the manufacturer‘s guidelines to identify the most suitable low-GWP replacement.
