ℹ️ Note: R600a has excellent compatibility with standard refrigeration components and mineral oils (MO), alkylbenzene (AB), and polyalphaolefin (PAO) oils. It is often a direct drop-in replacement for R134a and R12 in hermetically sealed systems. However, due to its high flammability, it is not recommended as a retrofill in existing systems without proper safety assessments and system modifications. Its use is often limited by charge size restrictions (common limit is 150g for refrigeration and AC equipment).
