Product Overview
MAPP Pro is a high-performance fuel gas designed for professional plumbing, HVAC/R, and metalworking applications. It is a specialized blend of propylene and liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) , formulated to deliver higher flame temperatures and faster heating than standard propane. MAPP Pro is widely used as a replacement for MAPP gas (which was discontinued in 2008) and is available in disposable cylinders for portable use.
MAPP Pro offers a significant increase in primary flame temperature over propane, allowing for faster brazing and soldering in demanding applications such as large copper pipe joints, silver soldering, and heavy metalworking.
⚠️ Critical Safety Warning: MAPP Pro is classified as an extremely flammable gas (Category 1A) and is stored as a liquefied gas under pressure. It may explode if heated. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Store in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 49°C (120°F). Use only in well-ventilated areas. The gas does not contain lubricant – when used for applications requiring lubrication, ensure proper maintenance.

Storage & Handling
· Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from fire, sparks, and heat sources
· Keep cylinders upright and secured during storage and transport
· Do not refill or reuse disposable cylinders

· Ground all equipment during transfer to prevent static discharge
· Do not extinguish gas fires unless the leak can be stopped safely – explosive re-ignition may occur
