R410A is a near-azeotropic HFC refrigerant blend widely used as the primary replacement for R22 in residential and commercial air conditioning systems. It is a colorless gas with a faint ethereal odor. R410A offers higher cooling capacity and operating pressure than R22, delivering superior energy efficiency and system performance.
R410A is currently the most widely used refrigerant in new residential and commercial AC equipment worldwide, valued for its excellent thermodynamic properties and reliable performance across a broad operating range.
⚠️ Important Note: R410A has a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 2088 (IPCC AR4) and is subject to phasedown regulations under the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol. Please check local regulations before purchase, especially in regions with active F-gas reduction policies. R410A operates at significantly higher pressures than R22 – it is not a drop-in replacement for R22. Systems must be specifically designed for R410A.
