NovoCool R410A is a near-azeotropic HFC refrigerant blend from the NovoCool brand, widely used as the primary replacement for R22 in residential and commercial air conditioning systems. It is a colorless gas with a faint ethereal odor, offering higher cooling capacity and operating pressure than R22, delivering superior energy efficiency and system performance.

⚠️ Important Note: R410A operates at significantly higher pressures than R22 – typically 50% to 60% higher. It is NOT a drop-in replacement for R22 and must only be used in equipment specifically designed for R410A. R410A has a GWP of 2088 (IPCC AR4) and is subject to phasedown regulations under the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol.
